The advertising visual was shot by top photographer, film maker and art director Dewey Nicks.
As well as shooting campaigns for many of the world’s greatest brands and photographing stories for glossy magazines including Vogue, W and GQ, he has also published a book of photographs of California.
But perhaps above all, Dewey has an incredible passion for the outdoors, which is why he enjoyed shooting the Tom Tailor Ocean fragrance campaign so much: "shooting for the Tom Tailor Ocean fragrance campaign on one of my favourite Ocean islands was a fantastic experience," he says.
"The team and I standing in shallow water, the endless horizon and ocean stretching out in front of us – even the models had so much fun, playing around with the surfboards, falling off them as some bigger waves hit us – and I guess that joy comes across in the visual."
A man and woman, surfing, splashing, enjoying the freedom of holidays and letting the beauty of the ocean surround them.
They’re having fun, yet they’re also centred and serene: that’s the possibility that the ocean gives.
In the background, there’s a glimpse of palm trees on the edge of a tropical island. Where is this place?
Wherever you feel as calm and carefree as the ocean itself...
